 "...instead of a "Cooked Goose" the two men are on the back of a live one and shooting downward, other than that the insignia is the same. here is the text accomponying the insignia. "This insignia was used by a different squadron prior to its approval for use by VP-61. It continued in use fol-lowing VP-61's redesigna-tion to VJ-1, VAP-61 and then VCP-61 ..."
