REUNION 2008
April 17th thru April 20th, 2008
"Announcement"
Dear Mad Foxes,
As you can see our attend list (2008 Reunion Roster) is growing and all looks to be right on track. I have a meeting next week with the new hotel manager/owner.
I would like to ask all of you to put a little announcement in your local news paper informing the readers of our reunion in April.
OK; P3 folks, let’s get out there and drum up some attendees. After all you are the guys that have to carry the torch when I get to senile to remember who is coming and when and where the reunion is taking place. If everyone on this list could get one more friend to attend, we would set an attendance record for 2008.
If all of you could do these two simple things, I will be glad to handle the flood of registration forms.
One more request; as most of you know we fought like hell to get the final remains removed from the LA-9 (1962) crash site, on the Greenland Glacier (In Memorial for lost friends...12JAN62). In August 2004 our prayers were answered because FOX NEWS embarrassed President; G.W. Bush in a newscast on Memorial Day. We all sat back and waited for the remains to have the DNA test done and matched up to get them put into their final resting places. Our government has thrown us another curve. It seems that Hawaii can not finish their work on the remains from 2004 until the Superintendent of the Arlington Cemetery digs up the mass grave (partial unidentified remains from the 1966 recovery mission) and turns them over to the group in Hawaii, so they can connect all the dots.
I will be sending more info on this tomorrow along with sample letters to send to your deaf, dumb and blind representatives. I think we need to call on FOX NEWS again to do another Memorial Day, newscast. Maybe we can stick it to G. W. one more time before he leaves.
