Thursday April 22, 200412:00 President Room open for the early birds. Pick up your registration packages.
18:00 Those desiring to go to an Italian Grill or Seafood Restaurant as a group meet in the President Room. Friday April 23, 2004Early: 30 Fresh coffee and refreshments in Ambassador Room. Pick up your registration packages.
11:30 Those desiring to go to NAS for the Squadron tour gather in Ambassador Room. All folks with base stickers team up with those who need a ride to the base. All passengers must have a picture ID card to enter the base. Camera's are permitted however no pictures inside the aircraft or trainers.
12:50 Assemble at the Jay Beasley Hanger, Building 1000, security gate for entry to the hanger.
Attendees will be divided in to four groups.
- Squadron Operational Brief
- Aircraft on Hanger Deck
- Trainers, across the street in the FASO Building, [Flight and Weapons System]
- AIMD Para Loft. Each tour will last approximately 30 minutes.
18:30 Friday evening festivities begin in the Ambassador room. Jeff Redding, a freelance reporter, will be conducting filmed interviews in the President Room with all who were in the squadron during the 61/62 Rota/Keflavik deployment. Please try to devote as much time as he needs, these interviews may have a direct effect on getting the our shipmates (remains) back from the Greenland Glacier. Thursday April 24, 2004Early: 30 Fresh coffee and refreshments in Ambassador Room.
09:00 Golf players meet in the President Room for forming teams. Ron Moore has "T" times with one of our local Golf Courses.
09:30 Those desiring to go on the Mayport SunCruz Casino Gambling Boat, gather in Ambassador Room. Boarding passes are $12.00 each. There is a buffet and special concessions covered in the boarding pass fee.
11:00 Gambling boat leaves pier for international waters, returns around 16:30.
18:00 Reunion Association business meeting in the Presidents room.
18:30 Saturday evening banquet in the Ambassador room.
19:30 Attendees introductions and awards presentations
20:00 Guest speaker, HMC John Bastien, member of the LA-9 recovery team. John was responsible for recovering and identifying the remains in 1966. Thursday April 25, 2004Early: 30 Fresh coffee and refreshments in President Room.
