NEUFELD, Dick rneufeld@impulse.net "...I flew in P2V-2's, 3's, 3W's 1952 and 1953; then P2V-5F's out of NAS Los Alamitos, California in VP-773 and VP-776 '54 - '59. Retired, now. Our crew in NAS Atsugi, Japan and NAS Kodiak, Alaska tours was PPC: Fred (Snide) Etherton (now in Peoria, IL), PP2P: Ralph Nuber (probably now in Maryland or IL), I was Navigator, PC: A.M. Silva, Radar: H.R. Herrick, Radio: G.R. Hutchinson, 2nd Mech: B.W. Mitchell, and Ordnanceman: E.C. Tennant. As Special Services Officer in NAS Kodiak, Alaska, I directed the publication of a NAS Kodiak, Alaska Tour Book 52 - 53. I still have many photos used in that book, though official Navy Photo Lab pictures were available only for that publication. My daughter's scanner is probably available for sharing of any of those photos for squadron members who have mislaid their tour books. Let me know, with descriptions of what you remember of photos you need, and I'll see if I can find a negative or print..." [E-Mail Updated 27DEC2004 | E-Mail/BIO Updated 02JAN2002 | 29MAR98]
