VP-874 was a reserve photo squadron. They were never called to full active duty while my father was with them. They also did ASW and coastal patrols. I am not sure but I think VP-874 use to be VP-876. I have assorted photos of VP-874, VP-876, VP-51 and VD-3 (1945 Okinawa). My father past away a year ago.
