AUBERT, Bob rite2aubert@juno.com "...I joined the Selected Naval Reserve Program in July of 1962, served part of my active duty in NAS Memphis, Tennessee for AT Training, and returned to NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania in January 1963. VP-936 was just organizing at that time and I was assigned to P2 No. 208 BUNO: 131483. I primarily "flew" the radio seat but received training in Julie, MAD, Radar, and ECM. My tour in this squadron lasted about a year and, at my request, was reassigned to a VR squadron, where I had several friends. I'll answer any "Shipmate" who would like to exchange "sea stories" from our time at NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Otherwise, hope you guys are sailing in calm waters and don't experience any unexpected and rough landings!..." [11SEP2003]

Memorial Picture "...EASTER, Ed "Hap"...With sadness, I must report the passing of Ed "Hap" Easter. Hap was 60 years old, no previous illness and suffered an apparent massive heart attack in his sleep on May 30th. His wife asked me to pass this information to any and all Shipmates who may have known him during his service with VP-936...Dalton C. Carr dcjacarr@chartermi.net..." [04JUN2001]

Flew aircrew in P2V-5 and P2V-7's (10 years) and P-3A's (14 years) as FCO. Was "bluecard" for FCO for 12 years. Also qualified in Julie, Radar, ECM, and MAD/Sniffer. Was MMCO in VP-64 from 1987 to 1994. The Condors are a proud, close and strong unit with an excellent tradition. They are and will be the best in my book. Would be happy to hear from fellow Shipmates..." [26APR2000]
