AIRCRAFT: VAW-123 BUNO: Unknown "...I took this picture in October 1968 during the 1968-69 Med Cruise. I was standing in the cat walk when this E-2A from VAW-123 launched from the angle deck of USS Forrestal (CVA-59). Pilots were LT Robert L. Chenery, and LT Lyndon R. Bell. I did not keep a record of who the three crew members were in the back end. Later that month, this aircraft was lost at sea (Mediterranean) along with three crew members (LCDR Paul Martin Wright, LCDR James Leo Delaney, and LTjg Howard Booth Rutledge. LTjg Frank J.
