Note NOTICE: "...Along with a pistol, Eugene Prezioso and I were issued nylon chits and maps. Each chit had a unique identification number with flags and a message in several Asian languages. I carried mine in my pocket since we did not wear any leather jackets. Sometime after the war I regret giving them to a girl because the war was over and I no longer needed it. When I looked up "blood chit" I could not find any chit that looked like mine nor any reference to nylon maps. Do you know of any archives that would list the names of those issued chits in VPB-119 during 1945 and what they looked like? Thank you. DaSILVA, Anibal José ww2ferreter@att.net..." [08JUN2003]
