VP-47 Reunion Association VP-47 Reunion 2008 September 2008 There is talk of a re-union of former VP-47 members brewing and is rumored to have its origins in Reno NV and Portland Or. It is at the "open interest" stage and 50+ members have been contacted with a positive response (from the 1958 and 1959/60 NAS Iwakuni, Japan deployments). It would be centered around the 2008 Reno Air Show, Reno NV during early September. It would be the "Mixed Bag Re-Union" open to all VP-47 personel both past and present, commissioned or enlisted.
